Bio from far away you can see the ruby awnings shading wooden chairs splayed all over the sidewalk. the great stone building soars up above it, window boxes spilling green tendrils over the edges. the windows are long and clean, with neat yellow lettering listing the times. inside it's cool and dark, with a counter nestled along one wall holding a glass cabinet of mouthwatering cupcakes and cookies and biscuits, all arranged on little wicker trays. charcoal sketches and oil paintings clutter the stone walls, some dark and heavy with color, others light and bursting and sweet, all Dean's own work.. the smell of coffee and chocolate fills the place, and the table cloths are that traditional white and red check pattern. this is Dean's pride and joy, his little cafe all his own where he works and dreams and paints and laughs. |
