Seamus and I've moved into the new flat. It's gorgeous, with windows taller than I am. Except, you know, we haven't got any furniture, and sleeping on the floor's sort of a bitch. We'll have to sort that out at some point.

It is close to Mud, though. Speaking of which, I need coffee or I'll go mental. One of the perks about owning a coffee place, yeah? Ha, perks.

Appearance: Dean is tall, at 6'0", with a well-muscled body that he works hard for at the gym four times a week, keeping himself strong, but with a slenderness he can't seem to shake. His face bit youthful, centering around full, pouty lips. His eyes are dark and expressive, set under playful brows. Dean's skin is light for a black man, and his two inches of curly dark hair suggests someone white a few generations back. He has a tattoo of a celtic knot on the right side of his stomach, right up against his hip bone.

His dress sense is relaxed, but professional. He likes a good blazer, and his favorite trousers are corduroy. He loves to pair an vintage tee shirt with dress pants and fancy shoes, for that well-dressed but casual look. More often than not, his nice clothes are obscured by a coffee stained white apron that he dons on the job.

Family History: Dean believed his father ran off when he was little up until the defeat of Voldemort, when one of the Death Eaters hauled in for questioning revealed his true fate. His father, it turned out, had been a wizard, a fact he never revealed to his mother, and had been killed by Death Eaters only a few weeks before the deaths of Harry Potters own parents. Dean was raised believing Andrew to be his father, and Abby and Sam to be his siblings, but in reality, it was only by marriage.

His family was supportive, albeit surprised, about his becoming a wizard. None of the rest of them exhibited any signs, so Dean remained a standout in his family. When the Ministry began rounding up muggles, he went into hiding, packing his family off to Belgium for an extended vacation. He never told them about his father.

Personality: Dean is creative and more soft spoken than most boys. He's a good natured type, willing to play along with mischief and always loyal to his friends. He likes to daydream, and he loves to draw. Despite his artistic tendencies, he has a good head on his shoulders, always responsible and remembering what needs to be done. He's well suited to the business world, as he's always been good with keeping track of the little details. He's a good listener and an even better advisor, having learned the ways of the world from his habit of keeping an eye on the goings on around him. He always knows a bit of gossip, but when asked to keep a secret, no one seals his lips tighter.
